Plagiarism Policy

The Journal of Information Technology and Applied Systems is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and originality. As a member of the academic community, we adhere to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and take plagiarism very seriously.

Plagiarism is defined as the act of presenting someone else's work, ideas, or words as one's own, without proper citation or credit. This includes, but is not limited to, direct copying, paraphrasing, or summarizing without proper acknowledgement of the original source.

To ensure the integrity of our publication, we employ a double-blind review process, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other. This process helps to prevent any potential biases and ensures that manuscripts are evaluated solely on their academic merit.

We use plagiarism detection tools to screen all submissions for originality and to identify any instances of plagiarism. If plagiarism is detected, the manuscript will be rejected, and the author may face further action, including being banned from submitting to our journal in the future.

Authors are required to sign a copyright transfer agreement before publication, which includes a statement confirming that the work is original and does not infringe on any existing copyrights. Our journal is published under a CC-BY license, which allows for the free distribution and reuse of published articles, provided that the original author and source are properly cited.

By submitting a manuscript to the Journal of Information Technology and Applied Systems, authors acknowledge that they have read and understood our plagiarism policy and agree to abide by it. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and originality, and we appreciate the cooperation of our authors in upholding these standards.
